Our Goals

OUR GOAL is to provide our developmentally disabled residents with a safe, healthy and happy home. We will provide nutritional meals prepared by our staff, cleaning service, laundry service and a host of recreational options fitted to their interests and needs on an individual basis.

Relatives are encouraged to keep in touch via internet or by phone, if you wish. You are also encouraged to visit. The center is located approximately one hour from Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, Panama. Several convenient methods of transportation are available to and from the airport. There are also numerous hotels and resorts in the area which will also provide transportation. We will be happy to offer information upon request.

Because of a lower cost of living in Panama, we will be able to provide housing and quality care for a fraction of the cost of similar centers in the United States.
If your child/family member is funded by Social Security Disability Income (SSDI), they are already receiving funds to cover all or most of the fees for our center.

Panama is a wonderful, safe country with everything from the modern metropolis of Panama City to majestic mountains to beautiful sandy beaches with average temperatures ranging from 75 to 85 degrees. The people of Panama are friendly and welcoming. The medical care is superb with numerous new hospitals throughout the country and qualified staff, most of whom are trained in the U.S. Costs of medical care will be addressed with each client individually. There are several low cost health care insurance plans available.

Many of the countries inhabitants speak English as a second language so communication is never a problem, but don’t be surprised when our residents start speaking Spanish as their second language!  We plan to offer classes for anyone who wishes to learn.  The monetary system is the same as in the U.S.

Regardless of what it's called - mental retardation, mental impairment, mentally handicapped, intellectual disability, developmental disability or learning difficulties - it can be a devastating, tragic situation for all concerned.  But, it does not have to be!  We are talking about human beings, our loved ones, who have needs and wants and desires just like everybody else.  Our residents are all individuals who will receive personal attention to assist them in achieving their goals and help to make their lives as fulfilling and meaningful as possible.  Residents will make lifelong friends to share with and grow with and have many new and varied experiences together.  It's important to have friends to learn how to care for one another and gain the ability to interact comfortably with others.
